Zogby Has Obama Ahead In North Carolina & Indiana
By ThePresidentialCandidates.US on May 5, 2008 in Barack Obama
The latest Zogby polls have Obama ahead of Clinton in both North Carolina & Indiana. The polls were taken on Saturday & Sunday and have Obama up by 8% in NC and 2% in Indiana.
The 2% lead in Indiana is not really statistically significant particularly with 15% of voters unsure of who they are voting for. In the past Clinton has done better with “late deciders” so that would seem to indicate she actually has a slight advantage in Indiana.
Both states vote tomorrow.
I’m predicting a 10% win for Obama in North Carolina (the huge early voting numbers there should help him significantly so it may be slightly larger) and a small (less than 5%) win for Clinton in Indiana. Certainly Obama may pull out a squeaker in Indiana but despite the Zogby polling(which is almost always on the money), the odds still seem against him there.
